How does the Secret Santa generator work?
You add the participants, and the tool randomly assigns each person someone to give a gift to — nobody draws themselves — then creates a private link for every participant.
Can the organizer see who got whom?
Only if they want to. Pairs are hidden by default: the organizer would see them only by clicking “Show pairs” or opening someone else’s link. If you’re playing too, just send the links without opening them.
Do participants need an email or an account?
No. There’s no sign-up and no emails — you send each person their link in any messenger, and they open it in the browser.
Is any data stored on your server?
No. The draw happens in your browser, and each person’s match is packed into their own link. We don’t store names or pairs.
How do exclusions work?
Pick two people who shouldn’t draw each other, such as a couple. The rule works both ways. If the exclusions make a draw impossible, the tool tells you.
How many people can take part?
From 3 to 100 participants.
