Frequently asked questions
Is the name draw random?
Yes. Every name on your list has an equal chance of being picked, using your browser's random generator.
How many names can I add?
As many as you like — paste a long list and the picker handles it instantly.
Are my names saved anywhere?
No. Names stay in your browser during the session and are never sent to a server.
Can I pick more than one winner?
Yes. Set the number of winners and press the button — they are drawn at once, all different, and numbered in the order they were picked. Ideal for giveaways with several prizes.
How does “No repeats” work?
With “No repeats” on, names that have already been picked are skipped in the next draws and greyed out in the list. Press “Start over” or clear the list to reset.
